2026 ..... a busy year!

Whilst the main thing about JUNCTIØN18 is to meet friends and have a good sing on a Monday evening, it is always good for the Choir to have something to look forward to. So some exciting things are being set up for 2026.!

First of all, on March 21st, we are entering a competition at Oundle .... would you believe it? The Oundle Festival of Music and Drama have a competitive class for non-auditioned Community Choirs and so we have entered the competition. We shall be singing two songs in front of a professional adjudicator and will have to see how we get on. We hope to do Crick proud!

After that, we shall hopefully take apart again in the Crick Scarecrow and Music Festival in July. Finally, we are planning a Charity Concert in November ............ more about that later.

So not only are we having fun but we are also expanding our repertoire and stretching ourselves as singers.

As an example, we are currently working on 'Africa', 'Waka Waka' and will shortly be starting on 'I Will Follow Him' from Sister Act.

So if you fancy a sing, come on down to the Crick Sports Centre on a Monday evening at 8.00pm. There's no audition .... just have fun !
