Crick Scarecrow and Music Festival!

We were absolutely delighted to kick things off at Crick Scarecrow and Music Festival on Saturday 12th July! The weather was fantastic and a wonderful crowd turned up to hear us perform. So we went through a 7 song repertoire including Elbow, Shakira, Beyoncé, The Spice Girls and then Hannah led the choir singing an encore of 'What Happens When a Woman Takes Power! Derek wasn't allowed to conduct that one !!!! LOL. The ladies of the choir sang confidently and with such great joy which communicated to the appreciative audience. All in all a fabulous experience for all concerned as we finish for the summer until practices begin again on September 8th. Thank you to the Festival organisers for providing such a platform for our choir and also to the Sound team for making us sound so good!!!! The choir will be making a guest appearance at Ocho's next Chirstmas Concert on 18th December and there are some big plans for next March ....... more of this later!
